Time On It Now Speaks Your Language

Timesheets don't stop at the language barrier

Bookkeeping and operations teams are rarely made up of people who all read English fluently. A contractor uploading their hours, a bookkeeper reviewing a client's sync log, an employee checking a due date on a retainer report - if the interface only works in one language, someone on the team is working harder than they should have to.

We've heard this from a handful of teams using Time On It across offices in different countries, so we've built translation and accessibility support directly into the product rather than leaving it as something you'd need a browser extension for.

What's new

• On-page translation. Every page - the dashboard, the upload flow, insights, settings, even this blog - can be translated into the reader's own language on the fly.
• Text-to-speech. Pages can be read aloud, which helps anyone who processes written English more slowly, or who's checking a sync result while doing something else.
• Accessibility tools. Contrast, font sizing, and navigation aids are available site-wide for team members who need them.

Where to find it

Look for the small language and accessibility control on any Time On It page - it works the same way whether you're logged into the app or reading the public site. There's nothing to install and nothing to configure; it's on by default for every visitor and every user.

Why we built this in rather than bolting it on

A lot of "accessibility" in SaaS products is an afterthought - a compliance checkbox rather than something that actually gets used day to day. We'd rather a non-native English speaker on your team be able to read an over-budget warning in their own language than have them guess, or a teammate who benefits from read-aloud support be able to get through an onboarding page without friction.
